Summer was blue roan, white splash on side. She was an exceptionally large, deep, level and smooth. Summer had a wide escutcheon and chest as well as a wide flat rump. She possessed an excellent Nubian head, with long, wide ears. Her udder was round, with a large area of attachment and plumb teats. Summer is the dam of ++*B Amberwood's Frosty Chancellor. Summer was shown only 4 times.

Shendy was blond/red roan with cream facial stripes. She was very tall and statuesque, with excellent breed character. Shendy was exceptionally SMOOTH and WELL BLENDED, with very clean lines. She was sharp, dairy, level with excellent, length, width and flatness of rump. Her udder was round with a fabulous area of attachment and plumb teats. Shendy's only son, Amberwood Pepper's Foxxfire, has become famous in his own right, not only producing GCH offspring and elite milkers, but a Reserve National Champion. Shendy is also the dam of GCH Amberwood's Frosty Valentine, who in turn produced 3 outstanding bucks.

Sharade was dark blond, with white freckled ears, white facial stripes, and black points. She was tall, long, level, tight shouldered, smooth, and well blended, as well as wide in the escutcheon. Sharade had an excellent Nubian head with long ears. Her udder was very round, high and well attached. Shown as a kid, she won 2 firsts, 1 Jr. CH. and 1 Res. Jr. CH. Sharade was not shown as a milking yearling. However, as a 2 year old (1999) she was shown once and won Grand Champion. Sharade had not been shown since then, due to an injury.

Patches was a very lovely, long, and level doe. She was very open and dairy, with a beautiful, well attached udder. She was the 1992 Nubian National Champion. In addition she won the 1992 BDIS, Best Udder, and was part of the Best Dairy Herd, at the California State Fair-Junior Division. She also won BDIS at the Great Western Livestock Show in San Francisco, at the Jr. Grand Nationals and at the San Joaquin
County Fair, Jr. Division.

Delight is a shiny red doe with dark trim, white ears, and muzzle. She is long, tall, dairy, excellent feet and legs, with a beautiful Nubian head. She has a lovely udder, smooth and strong in the fore, as well as a high wide rear. She is one of the most consistent milkers in the Trillium Trails herd.

Joy is red with white ears and spots. She is very feminine and correct, being especially strong over the top line. She didn't kid as a 2 year old, but did milk through that year. As a 3 year old she finally bloomed. Her show record was erratic - some judges loved her, some didn't.

Nutmeg is brown, with white spots and ears. She is an exceptionally lovely doe, displaying the long, feminine neck that is so prevalent in Hero daughters. Beauty was not her only attribute, she could milk as well. One of her production scores was, 5-11-305-2500-114-4.5%. Her daughter, GCH Kismet Foxxy Lady 3*M (EX 90), milked 1-10-3395-156-4.6% and 2-10-280-2950-136-4.6%. Her daughter, Megan, was 4th place milking yearling (61 entries) at the 94 Nationals.
Nutmeg is the dam of GCH ++*B Kismet Marvin's Smooth Operator.

Secret's daughter, GCH Rose Valley Daffodil 2*M, was an undefeated permanent Champion.

Daffy was red roan, white ears. She was very tall, long and level, with a very long, feminine neck. Judges consistently commented on her smoothness of blending, topline, feet and legs with an excellent profile. Daffy had an exceptionally well attached udder, with an extremely high, wide rear and the fore was well extended. Her teats were very plumb and she was a dream to milk. Daffy was an undefeated Champion. Like her dam, GCH DeNovo Supreme Secret, she was the ultimate in show quality and disposition.

Fanfare is black with white ears. According to Rose Valley, Fanfare was purchased as a five year old and could not reach her full potential. However, she has been an excellent brood doe. She is extremely tall, long, level with excellent feet and legs. She has beautiful Nubian breed character. She has a capacious, well attached udder. Her dam and granddam is GCH Unicorn Farm Patches 4*M (92 National Champion).

Missy was golden brown. She was very long, level, smooth, with excellent feet and legs. She was very feminine and possessed a petite face, typical of Marvin progeny, resembling her sire’s lineage. She carried on the quiet disposition so prevalent in Marvin. Missy was shown at the Mariposa County Fair (September, 2000) was first place both days and 1X Jr. Champion. Missy freshened with a lovely udder, smooth fore and a very high, tight rear attachment. Due to spinal and hip trauma during kidding, Missy was not shown in 2001. Missy died this spring (2002) during kidding, but gave us 3 beautiful daughters, one of which we retained in our herd.
