GCH Amberwood MT Naughty Maryetta *M
|
|
|
|
Maryetta was coppery black. She was sharp and well blended with a wide, flat rump. She was flat boned and had excellent ribbing, depth, barrel, feet, legs, and pasterns. She was a very long doe, but short in stature. However, like her dam, she was extremely wide in the escutcheon with a high, wide, rear udder.
- In 1993, she won her final GCH leg against the 1993 California State Champion.
- Maryetta's classification scores - HES 89.3 (89, 92, 93, 87) - Code 1 foreudder, udder floor, capacity, teat placement, head and front end, all the rest were 2 +'s and 2's.
- She has two GCH daughters and two with their dry legs.
Maryetta and Amberwood Stylin are litter mates and both are the foundation for the Amberwood LaMancha herd.

Gypsy’s is black with a white top knot and blaze. She is very large and powerful, but very dairy and flat boned, with excellent feet, legs, and pasterns. She has a wide, flat rump. Her udder is high and tight (she does have small teats, but an easy milker). In 1999, Gypsy earned 3 Res. GCH wins and 1 GCH leg. She has a total of 2 GCH legs. Eve is black and white, with white hind legs. She is quite a stylish doe, with a long elegant neck. Eve is very tall, large bodied, deep, and flat boned. She is extremely level, dairy, and wide in the escutcheon, with a wide, level rump. Her rear udder is especially high and wide. In 1999, Eve was shown 4 times earned 4 1st, 2 Jr. Championships and 1 Best In Show. In 2000, her son, Amberwood's Celebrity Knight, was Jr. Champion and Reserve Sr. Grand Champion. Her daughter, Amberwood's Celebrity Isis, was Jr. Champion.

Pie is white and brown. She is tall, long, angular and is extremely level with excellent feet and legs. Pie is exceptionally SMOOTH and well blended. Her udder is well attached, the rear being especially high and wide. She is very easy to milk even though her teats are slightly large. At the Mariposa County Fair 2002 (Open Show) Pie placed 2nd. Her dam, Sugar is a beautiful doe with a very round, well attached udder.

Tawney was light gold/beige. She was deep, level, smooth and well blended, especially from the neck into the shoulders. She had excellent feet, legs and pasterns. Tawney had a very well attached udder, with a high, wide rear.

Sugar is maple brown with black points. She is exceptionally sharp, dairy, ribby with excellent feet, legs and pasterns. She has a beautiful udder, very high and tight. Sugar was shown 4 times and earned 4 firsts as a milking yearling. Sugar has not been shown in the last two years, due to mastitis.

Isis was all black. She was very level, flat boned, deep, with a large barrel, excellent feet and legs, very wide in the escutcheon and chest. In 2000, Isis was twice first place and 1X Jr. Champion. In the September, 2000 Fair Isis was twice first place and 1X Jr. Champion. She freshened at 11 months old with triplets. She had a fabulous udder, very high, tight, round and well attached. Isis resembled CH Amberwood's Naughty Maryetta on whom she was line bred. Isis was not shown in 2001 due to a foot injury.

Bobbin is chamoisee and white with black points. She is long, level, large, smooth, long necked with excellent feet and legs. GCH White Bear T. Bobbin 7*M was Supreme Champion Doe, Supreme Udder in Show at the California State Fair, Jr. Division, 1996. In 2000, Bobbin was shown and won Best of Breed at 7 years of age. Her udder has held up extremely well during her 7 lactations. Bobbin is heavily linebred on the great Coastside herd.
